If me i would use Shots by shots for a simple Siggy .
Flash is like for making a Movie or w/e with long duration. Here's the tut

If Shots by shots you have to take photo's 1 by 1 and u must watch out for your maximum Width and Height.
Everything save as .Jpg
You can use Window Movie Maker or Sony Vega's , To make a Video.
Aft making a shots Arrange it's time to make the animation Smoother.

The Width and Height must be the same for all shot's
if not your .gifs picture will become ugly.
So yeah Save as .Avi
And you do nid a gif converter ^^
To convert your vid into Gif .
Drag your Video File in the Program VirtualDub
Go to File >> Export >> Animated GIF
