There's tut's everywhere .
Everyone camed from Zero to Hero . Even Nzr . So if you are a leecher . Here's a tip . Google everything . Download EVERYTHING YOU need . Cause in the end , who knows it might help you
I started my hacking journey at July 2008 (v0.76) from GzN and I downloaded HaRepacker and edited on my own . Means, I made everything myself following tutorials. And I released my first hack, BoF avoid godmode at August 2008 which is v0.79.

So you can say, I started from a "learner" (beginning hacker), not a leecher (download patcher, patch and hack). lol~

I started from learning too.
I remebered the first hack I used was NoDelay hack.
I was so impressed, and started learning wz editting.
I released my first NoDelay hack at GzN during v0.75.
I remembered because when I was uploading the eBooks(C++) to mediafire, i saw my v0.75 patcher there.
After that, I never released hacks again.
Only a few tuts.

Too bad I don`t have the chance to feel the roaring thunder of No Delay hack. Sigh~~

To admit it, I started as a leecher that downloads Boredness's patcher at GzN(2008), but not long after that I started to learn and .wz edit on my own by following guides on CEF (what a great forum back then), I never release or write any guide though.

I started searching for hacks when I saw someone at henesys using fly hack.
The No Delay hack, I only used it for around 1 patch.
Then it got patched the next patched......
So I didn't get to use it much.

I've learned till Class(Chapter 6), which is right after Pointers(Chapter 7).
Is that good enough to make SSTele?
Class has nothing to do with it, but Pointers do. And you need to know a little about Assembly too if you're starting from scratch.
LOL u read in comp??i bought a Dummies C++ and SQL Lol

I've been lurking on Xemectrum for a few months now, downloading public hacks and trying them. It was a great few months, the community seemed much more matured than most other Maplestory hacking forums. But then a topic like this surfaces.

I understand the fact that once a hack is released to the public it very soon gets patched. But some of you are forgetting what being a hacker actually means. A hacker is essentially someone who "enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary". The challenge has always and will always be a hackers goal, not the rewards.

While I dont deny that leecher are irritable, we have to take into consideration that those leechers are just starting to use hacks and still have not matured to the Beginner hacker stage. I'm sure there was once a time when we were leechers, and when we found a hack we liked, we most likely learnt to hack because we wanted to customize the hacks for our own personal needs. Personally, hacking got me interested in coding, and now I am a full time programmer. basically what I am saying is that, dont discourage leechers if your actual intention is to make them learn for themselves. The best thing you can do is to provide tutorials, which explain the concepts and workings of a hack instead of tutorials which only show how to dupliacte an already public hack.

Just my two cents as a retired hacker..

Agree with most of your points, except some.

Partially true in my opinion, it does take time for someone to start learning right, but it greatly depends on the attitude of someone, if he doesn't have the urge to learn, too dependence, or simply too lazy to think and move his hands, he won't be able to improve, and thus fails your statement.
The best thing you can do is to provide tutorials, which explain the concepts and workings of a hack instead of tutorials which only show how to dupliacte an already public hack.
Agree, but almost impossible to be done because as long as there're still people releasing hacks in this forum, I am pretty sure not more than 10% of people here will care about learning. If you browse this forum, it's not hard to find someone asking pointless questions or talking craps, some of them don't even have common sense or appreciate what they get, and even worse they can't type proper english, doesn't need to be good but at least understandable.

Think logically, a person that refuses to learn something he wants to get, get what I mean? He wants to get the hack, but he refuses to learn, yet he wants the hack so desperately, but still, he doesn't want to learn, most of the time this type of person is just a fail. But then, when they've got the hacks, they show them off in-game, proudly, those are what we called noobs and leechers, unfortunately there're way too many this kind of people.

So, my suggestion would be to stop releasing hacks anymore, but instead we should focus on writing guides and tutorials according to your concept, just to force people to learn.
