the only way is to clear the cmos.

Force a new BIOS update over it.
During new bios update, it have a switch to clear the cmos.

But when I on the laptop the bios thingy always comes out 1st.

if u can boot to dos, i still got debug method to clear cmos w/o open cover, but not 100% work.
