Say what you will about Paul the octopus, but just don’t say he was wrong. The oracle of the seas correctly predicted who would win the 2010 World Cup in South Africa (Spain, in case you haven’t heard), and all of his predictions on previous games were right, too. The octopus got it right, eight for eight.

Paul became the star of the World Cup show as his predictions proved right time and time again, prompting death threats and calls for his release. But now, he’s headed for retirement.
