What is Tart?
Tart is a tool that allows you to recover your Nexon account's birthday. Here are some (mostly MapleStory related) reasons why you may need to use Tart:
- change your password
- delete a character?
- provide full information when trading accounts
- reset your password
- find your password
- find your ID
While Tart was created for the sole purpose of helping users recover their birthday, it can under the rare circumstance that a hacker has someone's email and email password be used as a black-hat hacking tool. Don't do that .
How do I use Tart?
Tart was designed with the user in mind. Everything should be fairly intuitive but just in case it isn't, here's a run down:
For Nexon America Users

- Proxies - A list of proxies in IP : PORT format. You can find proxies using Google or by asking other members to share their list.
- Email - The email address you used to create your Nexon account. If you're not sure how to find your email, use the search feature on GK.
- Start/End Date - The date range you want Tart to search for your birthday.
- Thread Count - The number of simultaneous dates Tart will check.

- First/Last Name - The first and last name you used when signing up for your account. I'm pretty sure there is a way to find this. If you don't already know, search!
- Email - The email address you used to create your Nexon account. If you're not sure how to find your email, use the search feature on GK.
- Start/End Date - The date range you want Tart to search for your birthday.
- Thread Count - The number of simultaneous dates Tart will check.
Tart says "Cracker Finished" but there's no birthdate!
This means that Tart attempted every date in the range you specified but your birthday was not found. Try a new date range. If Tart does indeed crack your birthdate, it will be very obvious in the logs.
Why is Tart so slow?
It's not. With a OK proxy list, a decent amount of threads, and a good internet connection, Tart can check a whole year in ~1 minute. If you're using an easily attainable proxy list, such as the ones found at the bottom of this post, then yes, the cracking process will take longer than usual.
This is stupid. What's the point of Tart?
Many of Nexon's in-game and web features depend on your birth date. Some good examples of this include the Find ID, Find Pass, and Edit Account Info pages.
Why is this public? Can't this be used for hacking accounts? You just screwed account buyers over!
When people buy accounts, they want all the information. This includes email credentials and the date of birth. Seeings as how not everyone uses their real date of birth and not everyone writes down the fake date, this will actually help buyers.
As for account hacking... your birth date can only be used against you if the hacker has your email credentials. The owner of the email owns the account. This goes back to the buyer's point as well; the person purchasing an account should get email access for said account.
Why does Tart keep retrying dates?
Proxies go offline and get blocked. When this happens, Tart will automatically retry the date with a new proxy.
Why won't it open?
This program requires version 2 of the .NET Framework, which should come if you run Windows Updates on XP+. But if you don't have it, download it here: Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
