xbox360 system link ping limit
in advance, my english sucks big time, so please dont kill me because of that.
i will try to make my question understandable.
okay well, games for windows live.. you know it, and you owned its lan ping limit with your nice dll files.
on xbox360 its exactly the same... in fact it is really the same mechanic, i mean its microsoft, gfwl is accesible with xboxlive stuff etc.
xbox360 games have this ping limit too, its cutted at 30ms.
there are some communitys and nice projects that work like a hamachi for xbox360 - i wont tell names here, because i wont advertise, but its really nice - the only problem ist, that 80% of players even from your country have a ping like 31ms or 46ms - would be absoloutly enough to play, but its restricted at 30ms so it wont work.
i was wondering now if it would be possible to "fix" this anyhow.. afaik its not a system side thing, youre able to play xbox1 games like halo2 without the ping limitations - so there has to be something on the game disc that controls this limit.
because its basically the same thing like on gfwl, i thought it might be possible to mod it anyhow.
what do you think?
