Mine is Realtek HD somthing im not too sure about it cause i'm on netbook now :p

mine its a Creative Soun Blaster Audigy 7.1 ^^

I heard that in the Realtek ALC889A, the system is working great well except for the sound portion. It sounds terrible when I have two streams playing different things, like a game with music. It sounded more like a blown out speaker and crackly sometimes. Memphis Patio Furniture
