The following frequency table shows the areas of apartments of 50 households.

(inserts a frequency table here)

a) Draw a histogram to represent the data.
b) Find the percentage of households whose apartments are greater than 110 square metres.
c) Describe the distribution of the areas of apartments of the households.

Chapter 12 is actually somewhat hard for sec 1.. But in sec2/3/4 it gets harder, with topics related to chap12 such as, Coordinate Geography, Trigonometry, Modolus Function, etc. Anyway this is an example of a question from chapter 12, FOR SEC 1s.

a) Plot the points P(-4,2), Q(0,4) and R(2,5)
b) Find the gradients of PQ and QR.
c) Are the points P, Q and R on the same straight line?
d) Find the gradients of the lines OP and OQ, where O is the origin.

no . A maths is some sort of express math . and if u take A maths u also need to study E Maths WHICH is a different subject althouh it all falls under Math. That means u have 1 extra subject . Its kinda like science , spilt into 3 parts , 2 for NA (Phy and CHEM) , 3 for Express (Phy , Chem and Bio.... i think its pure Phy / Chem / Bio not all 3 together de)

correct me if i am wrong.

A Maths = Additional Maths (if u are NA and strong in Maths u can choses to take this)
E Maths = i dunno what lols. (all NA must take this)

zachchew: basic science is learnt from Pri 3 in Singapore, while a combination of the foundation of physics, chemistry and biology is learnt in sec 1/sec2. In sec 3/4, you have to really rush through alot of topics..
