[HELP] Ad hoc wireless problem

I'm trying to share internet through ad hoc,
I set up the ad hoc properly and both computer is connected, but when i use the host computer to ping the other laptop, it didnt work....
I also can't see the computers in the 'computer in my network'

My host computer got infected by virus and had to reformat!
Then i tried the ad hoc agen but doesnt work

your router should be able to connect 2 coms?

You need to check your router connect properly & If there is a Gateway setting in your host computer's firewall configuration enable it. If you are using a free firewall other than Windows Firewall on the host it might not support ICS at all.
