Woah. I remember uniting the world under one government was under one of the bible's warnings of doomsday. Somehow the Illuminati that you mentioned seems to be just that group. In the past, I had always thought it was going to be UN (though it did not sound so right with world peace as one of its motives), as I had been told. Of course, like you said, they have no power lol. That has made them less threatening compared to the many terrorist groups around the world, that might indeed set off a bomb(not sure about a nuclear one though). Of course, if such a group exist, they might want to kill people with no purpose to save the earth from global warming coming from the carbon dioxide that people breathe out lol.
